Mrs Marion and Lance Bohling
Founder & Director
Armed with a Business Degree and Chartered Accounting Qualification respectively , combined business experience , determination, a love of working with people and a vision, we embarked on a journey in 2005 called Destination Zambia. 6 yrs later we are still filled with passion, embrace every challenge and strive to be innovative in our business decisions, technology and daily operations.
We have surrounded ourselves with a passionate and dedicated staff who have embraced our vision and philosphy and we look forward to continuing this journey with them and others that join us as we move forward. Together we are DZ.
Hobbies: In our free time we love to travel and seek out new experiences. Relaxation time definitely includes time in the bush, reading, walking, golf and being with friends and family - in particular our 2 kids Ash & Calv who are in Australia.

Mr James Tumba
Leisure Consultant
I have been in the travel and hospitality industry for 5 years. I hold qualifications in Tourism and Travel Agent Management from CPM Unisa, IATA fares and ticketing, IATA Cargo both from Air Zimbabwe Commercial School. I joined DZ as a Leisure Consultant at the beginning of 2011
I enjoy my job because it gives me the chance to maximize opportunities through the application of knowledge and experience gained from both theory and practice - ultimately giving the client a fulfilling, memorable experience! From my short time at DZ and the philosphies I have been exposed to, I am sure that I will have a long career with the Company
Hobbies: My hobbies and interests are chess, horse riding, rugby, camping, fishing, hiking, basically the outdoors, reading and learning new things.

Mrs Anna Mwale Chansa
Leisure Consultant
I have been in the travel industry for 5 years and am so glad I chose this industry as my career. I studied at the Hotel & Tourism Institute in Lusaka and am the holder of a Tourism and Travel Certificate. I have gained an extensive knowledge of the Zambia tourist product and love sharing my knowledge. I joined DZ as a Leisure Consultant at the beginning of 2012
I was drawn to working at DZ because I felt they shared my passion of Zambia and marketing it to the world, and I believe they are an innovative company. I am confident that my organisational skills, attention to detail, experience and knowledge will be beneficial in my playing a part in marketing this beautiful country, and providing tailor made itineraries that no-one can refuse. The sky is not the limit for me, so I plan to study further and contribute to improving industry opportunities for future generations.
Hobbies: My hobbies include travelling, soccer, reading (particularly travel & tourism books). I have been priveleged to meet people from all over the world, all with different views on tourism and I grab every opportunity to learn more. In my free time I love being with my small family (Baby and Husband) and showing them around natural places. I love to go back home in Mfuwe as the natural surrounds are so peaceful and it gives me a strong sense of belonging.

Miss Mubila Kaneneka
Leisure Consultant
In 2008 I obtained a Marketing Certificate at the Zambia Insurance Business College. I wanted to specialise in the tourism industry and to this end, completed my Advanced Cert in Travel & Tourism at the Hotel & Tourism Training Institute in Lusaka in 2010. I embarked on my travel career in 2011 and I joined DZ in 2012 as a Leisure Consultant.
From an early age I have loved travelling. I fondly remember school excursions into Zambia's beauty national parks and awesome times with my family on holidays. One of my best experiences being the rare white beach sand found at Samfya beach in Luapula province. As a young adult I knew I wanted to focus my career on the Travel & Tourism industry. I have an extensive knowledge of the Zambia Tourism product and one of my biggest thrills is clicking 'send' for a final itinerary knowing that the clients will have an incredible experience in Zambia. I have gained an immense amount of experience in my short time with DZ and grealty look forward to growing my year over the years with such a vibrant company.
Hobbies: I love travelling, but mostly to the bush as this is closest to my heart. I enjoy cooking traditional meals and sharing these times with friends and family. I also enjoy playing chess, when I find a willing partner I can spend hours challenging my opponent.

Mr Paul Manda
Leisure Consultant
I studied and achieved a Certificate in Travel and Tourism at Greenwood Institute in Lusaka. I have been in the travel industry for 4 years and have loved every minute of it. I joined DZ as a Leisure Consultant at the beginning of 2012.
I started developing my interest in Zambia Tourism in my childhood and my dream was to one day take part in marketing Zambia to the international market. One of the ways to do this was to learn the product and get involved in developing itineraries and packages with a 'wow factor'. This i have gained through DZ who is focused on staff training and improving their product all the time. I thoroughly enjoy my job. My tremendous passion for Zambia and its natural beauty, enhances the love of every task involved in my role.
Hobbies: My hobbies include travelling and I try and go camping at every opportunity. I am also passionate about designing environmental conservation projects.

Ms Chembo Kalala

In 2006 I obtained my Tourism Management Degree from Walter Sisulu University, South Africa. In 2007 I joined the travel industry professionally. I have been with Destination Zambia since December 2009, in the capacity of Marketing Administrator.
It is such a great honor to be part of such a reputable organization where excellence is never compromised. My part in making this website a reality has been quite amazing and it is my hope that you all find it beneficial and easy to use.
Hobbies: In my free time I love reading, listening to music and dancing. Culture fascinates me so I read a lot about other people’s culture and when I am in the “zone” I write poems. I can safely say I am a poetess.

I have worked in the hospitality/travel industry for almost 5 yrs and qualified from the Hotel & Tourism Training Institute in 2005. I joined DZ in late 2007 as a Corporate travel consultant and it has been a great and wonderful journey being part of the DZ Team.
I have enjoyed being in this industry as it has allowed me to meet people from different walks of life which enables me to learn something from each one of them. In addition I get a great deal of satisfaction out of helping people and seeing that they are satisfied with the DZ services. Ongoing sytem enhancements ensure that we provide both our Corporate Clients and their employees with the best travel solutions

Miss Mwenya Kawandami

I qualified from the Hotel & Tourism Training Institute in 2008. The following year I travelled to the UK and Switzerland and on my return, I worked in the family business. Travel is my passion, so I decided to return to the industry and in 2010 I joined Destination Zambia as a Corporate Travel Consultant.
As challenging as my job is, I love it because it gives me the opportunity to interact, help and work with people from all over the world. Destination Zambia's unique business model has enabled me to develop new skills and in a very short time frame which has been most rewarding.
Hobbies: My hobbies and interests are socialising, reading, watching movies, cooking, exercising and travelling.

I graduateed from the Hotel and Tourism Training Institute Trust in 2006 and have worked in the tourism industry going on 5 years. My work experience includes working in the airline industry and travel agencies as a travel consultant. I joined DZ in 2011 as a Corporate Consultant.
Travel consulting is not a career I fell into by chance. It is a passion I had from the time I was in Junior Secondary School. Its a major part of my life and it is “a dream come true”. Corporate Travel can be demanding but I enjoy the challenge and reward of providing efficient and effective travel solutions to each client. The team ethic at DZ enables us to provide quick solutions in any situation
Hobbies: For relaxation, I enjoy meeting new friends, watching movies and playing music. When time allows, I play my favorite sport, basketball. Above all I most enjoy a good time with my family and friends.

Mr Floyd Chalwe
Corporate Consultant
I joined Destination Zambia as a Driver in June 2007. DZ provided me with the opportunities to increase my administration skills and I was promoted to Administration Assistant in mid 2009. After undergoing in-house and external training, in 2010 I was successfully promoted to a Corporate Travel Consultant.
My position is really challenging and I enjoy putting myself in my clients shoes when working, to ensure their travel arrangements are seamless, knowing that they can just enjoy their travel. My journey has been rewarding and a continuous learning experience. I am proud of the fact that at DZ we "never say no and nothing is too much trouble."
Hobbies: My hobbies and interests are travelling, reading, swimming, playing badminton and cooking.

I graduated from the Hotel and tourism Training Institute Trust (Fair view) in 2005 where I obtained a certificate in travel and tourism operations. I have worked in the airline industry for 5 years and I joined DZ on 1st September, 2010 as a Corporate Travel Consultant.
When I was young I dreamt of becoming a travel consultant and now that I have achieved it, I love my job with a passion. I get immense satisfaction from meeting people from all walks of life, and giving them a truly satisfying travel solution. Our team has the amazing ability to work as one and we all have the same vision

Miss Amanda Mulenga
Reception & Administration
I joined Destination Zambia in 2010 as Receptionist and I also fulfil administration functions.
The one thing that struck me most about DZ is that everyone works as a team to achieve their own goals and the company vision. I most certainly feel at home and part of the 'family'. My job enables me to be in contact with many different people on a daily basis and play my part in ensuring efficent travel solutions.
Hobbies: My hobbies and interest are: include traveling, listening to music, sports, visiting new places and meeting new people and cooking
